Congratulations to our very own Jaclyn Smith on being selected as a 2022 winner of Business North Carolina’s Trailblazers award!
Business North Carolina recognizes thriving business owners and professionals under the age of 40 who work in N.C. cities and towns that have fewer than 100,000 residents. All the trailblazers are selected for having a significant impact in sustaining and building their communities.
“It’s an honor to have been nominated for this award, and to be recognized with a community of other outstanding men and women,” said Jaclyn. “Founding these companies alongside Reid and getting to pour into our team has been both the adventure and joy of a lifetime.”
When asked about the biggest influence on her leadership, Jaclyn responded, “On a professional level, my husband, Reid, has inspired and challenged me as a leader more than anyone. One of the reasons we started this entrepreneurship journey was so we could do it together. Over the past eight years, he and I have been like iron sharpening iron, always leaning on the best of each other’s strengths in ways that leverage and complement our differences, rather than fighting against them.”
