Academy Pointe

Academy Pointe is a residential mixed-use  neighborhood in Downtown Clayton, NC. This 34 acre urban infill development leveraged all of our divisions, including entitlement, construction, home building, general brokerage, and marketing for the community. 

From property acquisition through entitlement, we managed this project to deliver a much-needed variety of single-family and multi-family homes within walking distance to Clayton’s historic downtown. These housing types are  in high demand and have provided the Town of Clayton with high density residential, as envisioned in their growth plan. 

Our construction crews completed all site work, including preconstruction, grading,  stormwater, and public infrastructure, which included water, sewer, and roads. 

Following construction, we then built the community in phases , with a total of 133 single family units, 12 townhomes, and 110 apartments, as well as a dog park, and playground amenities. 

The development is now fully constructed with apartments maintaining a high occupancy rate and homes sold out.
